November, 2020 Repeater Updates
440.275 Blanco/Spring Branch Repeater is Launched!
We are very excited to announce that we have launched our new Blanco/Spring Branch repeater on the air in late September. Unfortunately, the duplexers we acquired have failed and need to be replaced. We have received $185 to date and need to raise $500-$550 total for a good used set.
This repeater is located in Blanco county about 5 miles NE of 306 and US 281 in Blanco County. The new SADRC repeater will cover 15 miles North of Johnson on US 281 and all the way back South to 1604 and US 281 in San Antonio. It blankets Canyon Lake and covers the Hill Country really well!
Chris, KI5IIZ is the Trustee for this repeater site and operates under the club call sign of WS5DRC. We are about 35% of the way to getting an upgraded used set of duplexers. Should you be able to contribute towards this repeater project, your gift of money will go a long way to getting this repeater up this year!
